The Mahaska County YMCA is seeking applicants for a full-time food service staff. Wages commiserate with educational background and experience. Benefits include health insurance, retirement, YMCA membership, and a supportive work environment.

The responsible candidate will assist with the nutritional health and safety of each child enrolled in our child care program. They will demonstrate leadership, show active participation in healthy food preparation and service, and serve as a positive and wholesome role model to all participants and staff in accordance with the policies and procedures of the Mahaska County YMCA. With the support and direction of the Early Learning Director, they will ensure a quality experience for children and parents that focus on the YMCA core values of honesty, respect, responsibility and caring, while helping to build healthy spirit, mind and body for all.

Qualifications:

  1. Must pass a background check.
  2. Must be reliable.
  3. Must have the ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents.
